TalkFlowy is doing something that sounds obvious once you think about it but apparently no one nailed before — actual local-only voice transcription for Mac, no cloud APIs, no latency from waiting for servers to talk back, your words hit the page as you say them. That's a huge win for anyone who cares about privacy (your audio never leaves the machine) and anyone who's tired of paying per-minute fees to Deepgram or Whisper API. The big question is whether the accuracy actually holds up against cloud-based options, and I can't find enough details to give you a real take on that yet.
