Eye-tracking assessments for brain health Discussion | Link

Our Take
ViewMind Inc. uses eye-tracking to assess brain health—the idea being that your eyes might reveal what your brain isn't telling you yet. How your eyes move, where they linger, how your pupils react—these can be early signals of cognitive decline, neurological conditions, or dementia. It's non-invasive, it takes minutes, and it could potentially catch problems years before symptoms show up on traditional tests. Eye-tracking tech has been floating around neuroscience labs for decades, but ViewMind is trying to turn it into something accessible outside the MRI machine.
That's the pitch, anyway. Beyond the tagline, we don't have founder names, funding, client numbers, or validation data yet—which means we also don't know if it actually works. Eye-tracking for neurological assessment has promise in theory (plenty of peer-reviewed studies back the correlation between gaze patterns and cognitive states), but turning that into a scalable product is a whole different beast. The brain health market is massive and only getting bigger as populations age, so there's definitely a wedge here—if they can prove the science holds up outside the lab.
