Task Bert is positioned as a fully local, open-source agent for managing your texts — and low-key, that "fully local" part is the whole pitch. If it's really running on-device with iMessage integration (the Product Hunt URL hints at inbox-zero vibes for iMessage), that's genuinely compelling for anyone who's privacy-conscious and sick of their text data floating around in the cloud. The open-source angle means real ones can audit the code themselves, which is more than most AI tools offer. Whether it actually delivers on that promise is another question — I don't have enough signal yet on how smooth the UX is or whether it's actually good at its job.
