RadianceKit
Turn photos into 3D Gaussian Splats on your Mac Discussion | L...
Our Take
There's almost no signal on RadianceKit yet—just two guys, Björn Kindler and Qifeng Zheng, building a macOS-native tool that turns regular photos into 3D Gaussian Splats, which is that memory-efficient point-cloud rendering technique researchers have been losing their minds over. What I'd want to know is whether this runs locally on an M1/M2 or needs serious GPU horsepower, and whether the spline quality holds up against the browser-based demos from labs like lnvs.ai. Will circle back when there's actual traction to report.
