Quartermaster Real-time is building distributed maritime awareness—which sounds technical because it is. Based in Washington, DC, they're in Series A and working on something the maritime industry desperately needs: better visibility into what's happening across oceans, ports, and supply chains in real time.
That's about all we know. The data on this one is thin—no founder names, no funding amount, no client numbers, no growth metrics. Which means either they're early and quiet, or the secrecy is part of the brand.
Maritime logistics is a $4 trillion industry that still runs on ancient systems and spotty communication. Someone, somewhere, saw a massive inefficiency and decided to fix it. We'd tell you more, but Quartermaster hasn't given us much to work with yet.
