PawseKeys is a remote keyboard locker for Mac, which means someone built a solution for the very specific pain point of toddlers and cats alike deciding your ctrl+c shortcut is their personal piano. The problem is real — every parent or pet owner who works from home has felt the pain of an accidental tab-close or random string of characters replacing their carefully crafted Slack message — but I’d need to see how this actually works mechanically before I can say whether it’s a clever hack or a solve looking for a bigger problem. The concept alone is enough to make me curious, but not enough to call it the move yet.
