Multi-Claude
Run multiple Claude accounts side by side on your Mac Discussion | ...
Our Take
Most people's relationship with Claude goes something like this: you sign in with your personal account, then your work makes you create a new one, and suddenly you're constantly logging out of one to get into the other, losing your chat history every time. It's 2025 and switching between Claude accounts still requires quitting and reloading like it's the stone age. Multi-Claude fixes this in the most obvious way possible—it runs as many Claude Desktop accounts as you want, each as a real Mac app with its own dock icon, Spotlight result, and completely isolated chat history.
You create a profile for each account (Work, Personal, Side project—whatever), pick a color so you can tell them apart at a glance, and now you've got full-blown applications sitting in your Applications folder. Open Work and Personal side by side, Cmd-Tab between them like you'd switch between Safari and Mail. No logging out, no reloading, no friction. Your work conversations stay in work, your personal stuff stays personal. On first run, MultiClaude even detects your existing Claude install and offers to import your history into a named profile, keeping your original intact as backup.
It's $20, one-time, billed through Lemon Squeezy with a 30-day refund policy. No subscription. No account required. Everything lives entirely on your Mac—so private by default you're not sending data anywhere. It's a thin wrapper that just launches the real Claude app with a different data directory, which means when Claude updates (which it does often), MultiClaude keeps working without any maintenance on your end. Anthropic's Consumer Terms explicitly permit running multiple legitimate accounts on one machine, so you're not violating anything—this is for people with real work and personal accounts who got tired of the account-hopping dance.
