Our Take
Sunil Agarwal and Suman Saurabh looked at India's construction industry—the country's largest informal economy, employing over 50 million people and generating hundreds of billions in GDP—and saw absolute chaos. No centralized database for materials, vendors, contractors, or regulatory compliance. Everything was still happening over phone calls, WhatsApp groups, and trust. So they built Indbase, a structured database for India's builders to access verified information in one place.
Construction in India isunofficial. It's fragmented, it's relationship-driven, and it's desperate for infrastructure. Indbase is the first real attempt to digitize the information layer that keeps this industry moving. No flashy AI, no billion-dollar valuations—just a practical tool solving a painfully obvious problem.
Based in India. Building the operating system for India's builders.
