Our Take
Glia is doing something deceptively simple: it keeps your AI chats connected to your code, no matter where you're working. Local-first means your data stays on your machine—no cloud syncing, no accounts required. It watches your conversations across AI chatbots in the browser and mirrors relevant context directly into your IDE, so context switching becomes basically nonexistent.
This is the glue (get it?) between ChatGPT/Claude Sessions and VS Code. You get intelligent context injection without the drag of copy-pasting or losing thread history. It handles the messy part of AI-assisted development—the manual hunting and gathering of relevant code and conversation snippets—so you don't have to.
Simple idea. Hard problem. Already useful for anyone spending half their day context-switching between browser AI chat interfaces and their actual codebase.
