Our Take
Drift is a journal that literally disappears — your entries slowly fade over time until they're gone, which sounds anxiety-inducing at first but actually makes a lot of sense for people who treat journaling like permanent self-judgment. The fading mechanic removes the pressure of crafting the perfect record and instead treats your thoughts as temporary, like they should be. I don't know how fast things disappear or if you can save certain entries, but the concept alone is low-key genius for anyone who's ever stared at a blank page terrified of committing words to something that will exist forever.
