AstroGrid - Universe Engine
Explore the entire universe in your browser, in real 3D Discussion | ...

Our Take
AstroGrid is a browser-based 3D universe engine that lets you explore the solar system, Milky Way, galaxies, and deep-sky objects in real time—no downloads, no plugins, just pure cosmic exploration straight from your browser. Built by Velonspace, it's essentially Google Earth but for the entire universe, rendering stellar bodies and celestial structures with impressive fidelity. If you've ever wanted to float through Saturn's rings, spiral around a black hole, or get lost in distant nebulae, you can do all of it right now. It's the kind of tool that makes you realize we've been mapping Earth for centuries but we've barely scratched the surface of our own universe—and now anyone with a web browser can finally see what all those Hubble and James Webb photos have been trying to tell us.
